Workplace Sandbox Conflict

Now more than ever, workplaces are challenged workplace conflict causing stress, mental health issues, retaining talent and the capacity to work through conflict.

Workplace conflict costs everyone; employers and employees. Great workplace culture is everyone’s responsibility and retained profits can benefit all involved.

Listen and learn more in my latest short video:

While writing a book about the corporate sandbox this past summer, I asked people about their early memories of sandbox play. Answers ranged from comparison, equality, fairness, jealousy, bullies, competition and anger from someone stomping on their castleI heard recollections of being king of the castle, owner of the most toys and about limitations of quantity or quality of sand, space, toys or the even the invitation to play.  Some people said they remember getting sand in places that they didn’t care to admit.

Notice the similarities to the workplace? Comparison, competition, wanting to win, lack of resources, exclusion…there’s not a lot of difference, but we can go into ‘childish thinking’ pretty quick when things get tough, which creates stress, conflict and potential loss of relationships with good people.

Your work team can benefit with the techniques taught and practiced in the  Play Nice in the Sandbox with Penny Tremblay program.  It’s a 2-day certificate program to build productive, peaceful and profitable relationships at work.

Want to just wet your appetite with a seat at our upcoming Conflict Resolution public session?  Find a city near you, or heck, create your own buzz on the street and invite me over for a couple of days.

There’s no better time like the present to bring this seminar to your workplace.  After all, productive, peaceful and profitable relationships benefit everyone.  It’s not difficult to get people to come and PLAY for a day in my seminar sandbox.  After they attend Day 1, they’ll be excited to come play again at Day 2.

Do you have a conference coming up?  No matter what the theme, this topic that creates rich relationships is foundational to solid team work.  Host this keynote at your conference.
