Resolutions are only wishes

Conflict in the Workplace COVID Survey

We are only 11 days into a new decade.  Have you sat down and written out goals for yourself?  Resolutions are only wishes, until they are written and a plan is in place to achieve.  This means making a change in your life somehow, whether it’s your health habits, your financial well being, your relationships or your career.  Remember to seek a good balance when you are planning to improve your life, because consideration of all of the important roles in your life is the only effective way to get ahead.  As this time of year we are thinking of getting back on track after the holidays, it is worth taking the time to make your plan.  Take responsibility now to make 2010 your best year ever.  I often say in seminars and speaking engagements that most people spend more time planning a vacation than they spend planning their whole life.  Take an hour or two this week and decide how you want to improve this year, and plan it out.  Believe in your end result, as if it’s already happened and live your life that way.  That is how you create the change.  It’s in your mind first, then in your actions.  To help you, I have written a full article this month about making new year’s resolutions that stick.  Best wishes for continued improvement and success to all of you.
